Fee: £290, includes tutorials, food and accommodation (some bursaries available)

Shortlist: Short Stories

Thomas Glave is the author of Whose Song? and Other Stories and a book of experimental/political essays, Words To Our Now (awarded a Lambda 2006). His edited anthology, Our Caribbean: A Gathering of Lesbian and Gay Writing from the Antilles, will appear from Duke UP in early 2007. Read more about Thomas here.

Betsy Warland is best known for her language-focused writing. The unsayable, the secreted, the unknowable: these are her obsessions. Betsy has published several books, from InVersions: Writing by Dykes, Queers and Lesbians (1991) to her most recent Only This Blue - A Long Poem with an Essay. Read more about Betsy here.
